I invite you to experiment with different techniques and find what works best for you. Do this only if you agree to use common sense and take responsibility for your actions. For example, with the Stop meditation, it is clearly not wise to try it when you are driving or carrying a cup of hot coffee.
You are experimenting, so just like when learning anything else, take care so that you don't hurt yourself or anyone else. In over twenty years, I have seen only positive results from these meditation techniques. However, if you have any physical ailments or difficulties or have any physical, mental or emotional conditions, check with your practitioner before doing any of these techniques.
